I finally got my first new DSLR. The model I decided to purchase was the Nikon D5300. I was almost tempted to go with the 7100, but decided against it (mostly due to the price...).
I've been studying photography basics for the past few weeks, but it's entirely different to practice with an actual camera. I didn't want to be dependent on auto so I experimented in manual mode, which probably explains why most of my shots turned out crappy.
In the backyard I took some decent shots of flowers, but since I'm sure nobody wants to see flowers, here's a picture of Etude House's Tear Drop Powder in #1 Crystal White Tear. I've had it since December and it's something I use almost everyday. After applying white/cream eyeshadow/pencil, I just use a small brush to brush a little on inner corners for an eye-brightening effect.
